My creative process
In this section of my site is where I keep my art work. As you will see there are quite a few sections. I'm especially skilled in drawing. In fact according to my drawing professor I drew like a painter. These drawings are located in my fine arts page.
History as an artist
As you can see I've been an artist for many years. I think I was in first grade when I first drew a picture of a squirrel. Everyone in my class thought it was cool. Unfortunately the picture has been gone for many years. Still that early success drove me to become an artist (that and the fact that I hated English). I think my first attempt in computer art started right after my family got a computer with Windows 3.2. I was creating a lot of pictures with the bitmap program of painter. When my family got their Gateway 2000 that's when I found out that I could learn a program just by playing around with it. I learned the entire PowerPoint program that way. Then when I was in high school I started playing around with the basic html and created my first webpage. It was simply a welcome page (I've lost it since then). I really liked the thought of being able to publish my opinions on such an open forum. So I decided to create a religious site. But what really made me want to become a computer animator was Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace. I saw that movie nine times on the big screen (and despite what others think I liked Jar-Jar Binks). From that time on it has been my ambition to become a computer animator.
