About the Author

First a little bit about my history. I was born in 1982, and was given the name Susan Leigh West. I lived in a little suburban community of Huber Heights, Ohio for the first twelve years of my life. During those twelve years I was taunted by my peers. Then on December the 2nd, 1994, I moved to the small town of Los Alamos, New Mexico (That's where they made the first atomic bombs). My life was almost instantaneously improved by the move. In Los Alamos I graduated from high school in June of 2001. I've graduated from NAU in Flagstaff AZ in December of 2006 with a BFA in Visual Communications with an emphasis on Computer Imaging

I love to go to see movies, but hate the seats at some theaters. I love my mother and my brother and I always will. I also have two cats and a dog as of today. I like to draw, work with computers, listen to hardrock, make cards, and mess with beads.

Now I am serious about finishing my first book. It'll be the first of a Trilogy that I like to call the Celtic Realm Prophecies. And I am currently 10.5 chapters into my first draft. And I'm currently barreling through chapter 11 of a 21 chapter book. And I'm planning to do some art a well.

I just finished my promo flash animation and you'll think it's the best one I've done so far. It's a Music Video like most of them. And if you look very close at the Flying Dragons you'll see that their eyes blink. And you'll also notice that I've tried some new techniques. For example, the gems sparkle and change tint simultaniously. You'll also notice the spiraling effect combined with expanding. It's called Trip Like I Do and it's Flash Player 10.
